The Fashion High Tea is a very high profile event that has always been put together for the upwardly mobile discerning professional, to indulge in their favorite pastimes, i.e. fashion, shopping and socializing while indulging in luxury and at a sophisticated atmosphere. The previous Fashion High Tea event boasts rave reviews on pizzazz, style and execution. It had a sellout crowd consisting of high profile guests and personalities. The event received extensive media coverage both locally and abroad.

Following in the footsteps of the previous event, FHT expect to make Fashion High Tea 2014 the hottest fashion ticket in town this weekend. Expect to be wowed! The annual Fashion High Tea event is usually hosted to support various charitable causes. The 2011 High Tea event raised money for the women in Pumwani Maternity Hospital and in 2012 they raised money for children suffering from cancer at Kenyatta Hospital. Last year, FHT raised money for Therapies for Kids, Funds were raised for full therapeutic care for children with special needs for a defined period of time.

The FHT 2014 will be supporting The First Lady’s Beyond Zero campaign to raise funds to purchase and deploy mobile clinics across the country to provide better prenatal, delivery and postnatal services to the underprivileged.

Thousands of Kenyan women, especially those in the rural areas, will die this year due to pregnancy related complications: “Thousands of children will be forced to survive without their mothers — the majority will not make it beyond their first birthday. This doesn’t have to be the case,” said Mrs.Shivani Radia – MD, Zen Garden & Fashion High Tea Proprietor.

The 2014 High Tea, promises to raise the bar even further. The Runway setup is going to be unique, with intimate table seating for all the guests to enjoy. We will be sourcing gorgeous models showcasing unique collections from local and international designers.

The Fashion High Tea experience and ambiance is a sophisticated grand affair. Guests are treated to an evening of great entertainment on the Zen Garden lawn, and an exquisite fashion show too by top class fashion designers. The shopping experience in the Mini Boutiques section is unmatched. Expect an array of top fashion brands and boutiques selling garments, shoes, accessories and jewelry. And lastly, we do not let our guests leave without taking home some free goodies.

Zen Garden, as usual, will be creating an elaborate fashionista’s high tea menu. The lavish menu will include a selection of mouthwatering pastries, muffins, cupcakes, tea sandwiches, cookies, mini burgers, variety of cheeses, sweet & savory delicacies & a sushi bar on ice being passed around while the guests mingle.

This year FHT will be having 2 amazing international DJs sponsored by mi-Fone, mi-Card & Roc Nation who include Award winning International Ghanaian DJ , Dj Nickie Cartel & Kenya’s all-time favourite Dancehall Ambassador, DJ G-Money.

There will also be unique mobile bars serving up delicious cocktails, selection of wines, soft drinks, tea & coffee. Just like the previous event, we expect to put on a spectacular show for our guests, with an amazing food & beverage selection, haute couture vintage runway, entertainment, live band & unique shopping experience in the mini boutiques.
