The collection has a dazzling bridal effect featuring delicate laces, beading, and floral appliqués to effortlessly portray femininity and poise. The delicate juxtaposition of materials creates a collection with sophisticated yet whimsical aesthetic.

The collection photographed by Kenya’s Picasso of photography – Ben Kiruthi who with his experience, charms the fashion lookbook with his alluring ‘light and play’ via the camera; eventually transforming the fashion spread into extraordinary images.

Founded in 2009, the Wambui Mukenyi label is the brainchild of a self taught designer, a true artist and a visionary. Wambui’s most recent collection is featured in the “Bridal 2014” Campaign with inspiration from nature & the African woman with highlights to a touch of a glamorous wedding texture plus the female figure and what is perceived on a daily basis. Hence, there is that motivation in Wambui Mukenyi to move a step ahead of the game.

The collection features elegant and trendy pieces that define the bridal beauty, easy fit and have the power to make an ordinary bridal woman feel and look stylish on her big day. We also love the fact that the designer went with using bridal-fit women to model the clothes with the collection showing the designer’s love for luxurious fabric to produce timeless femininity and effortlessly stylish fashion concept for the bridal woman.

Head designer Ms.Wambui Mukenyi in her words echoes the fact that the brand creates a division between the ordinary and extraordinary of an amazing wedding experience through eclecticism and demonstrates fashion in a unique avenue to not only the bride but to the bridal party and wedding event as well. Her other previous collections have included: the 2014 Fall/Autumn Collection, Holiday Collection, Simplicity of Love and The Renaissance Collection.

With Ms.Mukenyi determined to hit international stores by the end of the year, the demand for her label has also been soaring with her features in Fashion Magazines in Kenya.
