#FeatureFriday: Kenyan Model Naro Lokuruka Kicks It for Marie Claire June 2016

Kenyan-born Model, Naro Lokuruka, is so far having a good year as it seems she’s become great at what she does. Perfecting her passion, the fashion industry is in recent time paying more attention to Naro.

With a 5 year experience on international runways, Naro is amongst the new go-to model for editorials and campaigns. Her dedication and passion to modelling, keeps her afloat, and we admire her drive.

Naro featured on editorials of Elle South Africa and Ellement earlier this year. She has supplemented yet another editorial to her resume by recently featuring in Marie Claire South Africa June 2016 issue. Photographed by Paul Samuels, Naro’s radiance is spotted in casual outfits from high street brands like Diesel, Zara, Topshop and more, defining a style play flaunted in denim that’s in sync with recent mix and match style trends.

The feature titled “Kicking It” sees Naro showing us a few stylish ways to look uberfunky in denim. Naro re-energizes denim classics while giving it a masculine edge. We particularly like the androgynous vibe she pulled off in certain shots and the femininity she exuded in looks like the flared denim pants.
